Not sure about the U-nr. But, this is a Vegesacker Werft boat.

Hello to all :D; more...................................

U 409 (Type VII C).

On both sides of the conning tower and quite towards the bow, she carried the blue sawfish emblem belonging to the 9. U-Flotilla. Behind the sawfish on the starboard side was an outstretched thumb over a surfaced U-boat.
