Hi,

I think this is the U 755, with Lt. z.S. Heinz Blischke (U 744) on the right, and Oblt. Walter Göing on left.
What do you think!!!!!!!!!

Nobby,

you are absolutely right! It is U 207, taken at Kiel Tirpitzhafen.

Hi,

This is a scan from the book``Die Deutsche Ubootbunker und Bunkerwerften`` page 126 from the Author Sönke Neitzel.

And this is a pic from EBAY, it looks to me the same boat ?? Can we add this boat to our archive as U 959.

My best regards,

Ron.

Hi Axel,

Thank you very much. I think this is the first commander, Martin Duppel. Iam not sure with this.

Is this boat also the U 959 approaching Trondheim, Norway on 20 March 1944 under Friedrich Weitz ??????.

Hi Nobby The picture above titled Danzig? is possibly U446 or U450. Picture was taken in the late spring or summer months as per the uniforms and the trees in full leaf. It is likely to be Danzig as there is a pair of gantry cranes in the background as well as luffing cranes. There was a least one pair of large gantry cranes in Danzig and they do appear in some photos.
