Hi Nobby,
YNWA! The Danzig boat is U 404. The UAK sign clearly identifies the boat as one built by the Danziger Werft. No wind deflectors!
Check this after todays match!

Gentlemen,

Need some help with the following pic(s).

The boat in front is U 1057 with commander Günther Lüth in the center.
It looks like the boat on the right is U 1131, both boats commissioned on 20 May 1944 at Kiel, Germany.
The white triangle is partly visible, is this correct.

Ron.

Hi Ron, U 1057 is correct, have image without civilians! It could be 1131 for sure but have no images of this boat.

Hi, Nobby. Looking at this I think it is one of the following three series.
701-705.
711-722.
or 451-458.

regards Mark H.

Gentlemen,

Could this be U 1308, sometimes the boat is misidentified on the back of the pic.

Hi Nobby,

I don`t know, even not sure if the U-nr is correct.
I think this is his obituary notice, nothing is mentioned on the marinearchive.

Hi,

Need some help with this one.

The boat in the center is U-978 (Pulst), with the Knights Cross painted in front of the Tower. No KM flags are on the higher platforms.

I think......... the boat far left is U-773 (Baldus) and the boat on the right is U-1203 (Seeger).
Pic taken at Lofjord, Trondheim, Norway on or after 9 May 1945.

My best regards,

Ron.
