Hi Raul, possibly. U202 or more likely U204, looks like early 201-2012 boat. If I am wrong Axel will tell us.

Hi,

the boat in #314 is U 967 at Toulon, the boat in #315 is U 69 with CO Gräf reporting to the flotilla commander Sohler in June 1942.

Keep on.
Best wishes

Hi, the oldest brother of my grandma served the marine and was machine Matrose on the U648 I have a few pictures also the one Bad Karma (Ron) has were the boat members red the mails when back in port. My uncle Max Hensch sits in front 2nd left with his back to the photographer. My grandma aged 99 yesterday! She was born near the Cologne Cathedral 3 houeses far from the river Rhine. So Max was a water boy. She always said that he loved boats but right after the very 1th trip he came home and wans't any longer her brother. His live attitute totally changed. This obviously is what WAR is.
unfortunately they sunk in 1943 and until today nobody knows how or ehy they sunk and where they lay on ground. The only good thing is he died a seamans death he is burried in the sea. Sad buth truth. I once bought proudly a postcard and a mail paper from ebay where the 3 UK based boats like drury etc. they claimed to be responcable for the sinking later Axel Niestle and others declaired it obviously is not truth. THis is also WAR. Anyway over the last years she lost all her other younger brothers. Only she and the youngest sister are alive. C'et la vie the french would say.

Regarding the two pictures with the tower I still canot believe that this is the U648. If so i am very excited to see the tower logo in front. never saw a aircraft in front. all the years I asked myself how it would look like the emblem.

StillI am hungry to find out more info about the boat and members. years back I have had a contact to someone which family member has some links to a team mate.

I would highly appreciate to get any info about U 648 etc. Website links I have. I am interested in pictures and members...

Looking forward
thanks
