I found this pics a few Month ago on Ebay. The complete series was named with U96. But is that true? I found a few differences (floodholes).

Hello to all :D; a little more: The U-Bootwaffe in action.

U 593 (Kapitänleutnant Gerd Kelbling), returning after completing one more patrol in the Mediterranean, judging by the two flags (first photo) it would be the one carried out between March 13 and 21, 1943. In that opportunity the U-boat operated in the eastern Mediterranean off the coast of Cyrenaica, as well as in Tripoli and Alexandria. This time she was able to sink 2 ships for a total of 4,566 GRT.

Yikes... shows a little bit how crowded it would be with the entire crew inside.

Hello to all :D; a little more: U 172.

The U 172 (Kapitänleutnant Carl Emmermann) completed five patrols, in the Caribbean, with the Eisbär wolf pack in South African waters, and in the North and South Atlantic.

Hi Raul,

I think in your lower picture is not U 185, but U 530 and that picture was taken on 16th of June 1943.

Regards
Pikap
