you probably noted that some stupid American navy tug captain wrecked U 805's railing after it had surrendered in perfect shape.

Hello to all :D; a little more................

Camouflage patterns of German U boats in 1939.

AFAIK shortly before the war, in the summer of 1939, the U Bootwaffe tested several camouflage schemes, although apparently without positive results . The author (first source) states that this scheme was testing in Spain but it was not effective...................................

Hi

in the first line we have (from left to right) U 10, U 61 and U 121, taken sometime in 1943. Next behind are two more Type II and in the far distance three Type VII, all lying alongside the railroad quay.
