WWI U-boat discovered intact

Post by Atrevida » 20 Sep 2017 13:19

Argentine newspaper Clarín reports the finding off Ostend/Belgium of a so far unidentified WWI U-boat of the type UB-II apparently sunk after striking a mine at the bow. It is the best know specimen of a U-boat of the period. The boat is closed up and the interior intact, the 23 crew members being entombed inside.
