Hi Raul

I am a Kriegsmarine Helmet collector here is the US. I believe I have a Helmet that was used on U 380. I would be happy to share it but wanted to speak further. I know this topic is very old but while I was researching the Helmet .... I came across Rauls PDF that he posted some great photos of the Boat and its crew and was wondering if he or someone on this forum had access to higher resolution scans of the PDF provided. Any help would be greatly appreciate and help my research.

Thank you so much! I dowloaded the PDF earlier but when I zoom in it degrades it seems. All the photos are on a single page. I wonder whoever scanned these has the original Individual Photos somewhere that I could obtain so I am able to see in close detail ? Do you know who scanned these or has them in theor collection? They would not be shared by me. Just for my FIle on the Helmt they would be kept and appreciated.

I would post the Helmet I aquired as well but I will have to check Forum rules to make sure that the Swaz is ok to post her. I assume its fine.

Here is the Helmet .... As you can see there is a Shamrock or 4-Leaf CLover on one side. A Gold Kriegsmarine Decal and is painted Shipboard Grey ... We feel this is not a forgery by any means and could have possible been used by a crew member on U-380. I have inspected it inside and out . It was found in St. Nazaire at a House Liquidation Sale in the 1990s. St. Nazaire was home to the Flotilla that U380 was a part of. It now resides in my Collection
