My source on the type XXI say that they got enough material to built at least 6 to 8 unit ,did they planned to build them? Also any picture of a typ XXI captured by the russian?

My understanding is that the later “whiskey” class boats were basically russian modified copies of the german boats. Do not know if they had any captured XXI‘s during the war. The best known boat (to me) is the “whiskey on the rocks“ fame boat from the swedish 1980s incident.

I got a source claiming that the russian finnished some unacheved submarine.

they also say that the russian maybe captured the typ XXI at Danzig
