Hi, everyone!
I am very curious about Seehund project, but noticed, that except very few schematic drawings, sometime contradicting each other, no detailed information is available.
For example, even length of fixed periscope from different sources vary 10ft to 10m.
I would be very grateful for more information on Seehund boats, or more detailed blueprints.
Sincerely...

Hi Alex,
Where do you have searched for informations?
The best available is the book "Die Seehunde: Klein-U-Boote "
Klaus Mattes (Author) inside plans from original drawing.
https://www.amazon.de/gp/offer-listing/ ... ition=used
periscops were used 2 types, first C 15 from tanks, later SKZ C 16 from ZEISS, special built for SEEHUND,
high 2.0 m, C15 was 1.5 m high.

Thanks, Beate!
I didn’t know about that book, and hadn’t seen it in English or Russian. Something to look for.
Hope, somebody will put some blueprints of Seehund in this topic;)
Alone with German XXI and XXIII, Seehund might change the course of war.
Sincerely...
