I think it should be “Kehlgerät“ and could be the codename for the FuG 203 when used for control of guided missiles/bombs like the Fritz X.

Focke-Wulf attack on British hunter groups on 27th August, in which remote-controlled glider-bombs were used for the first time and HMS Egret had been sunk and a cruiser severely damaged.
Found this! So it worked on this occasion! Need to research this some more.

Uboat net has the 25th. as the first date used (damaged HMS Bideford) and the sinking of HMS Egtret two days later by Donier 217 and Ju-88 bombers. The glider bombs used were Henschel Hs293 A-1.
