Mates,
I notice a note that mentions the loss of a ship called "Harvey M. Anderson" possibly by U 160 during its attacks on convoy DN 21 around 40 miles South of Port St Johns South Africa?
The U 160 sunk a large number of ships from this convoy over a number of days (between 3 to 4 of March 1943), but as yet I don't known any ship called "Harvey M. Anderson"? believed to be a US ship
Can you conform that there is or is not any ship by that name?
Cheers

Mates,
Thank you it appears the name was mixed up with another ship, which was also sunk that day and place.
No wonder I can't find any record of the Anderson.
Cheers
