the meaning or what the images are?
top shield is a eagle or crow foot (paw), mor elikely a heraldic shield
bottom is a pair of crossed brooms, usually means a clean sweep (all targets sunk)

No claw emblem in Hogel for this boat! Sunk on first war patrol so no clean sweep!
Why were these emblems used on U 292? Must be buried in history!
