Atatck by USAAF 2 AntiSub Sqn

Mates,

Do you have any ideas on what U Boat was attacked by the USAAF 2nd AntiSub Sqn Liberator West North West of Lisbon 14 July 1942.

The U Boat Net at first had U 757 (now gone), as does Franks & Zimmerman's book "U Boat vs Aircraft", but U 757 did not sail on her first patrol until Sept 1942?

So it was not her?
