Hi. I have this fantastic book "wir leben noch!" we are still alive! 26 accounts from next of kin of the uboat friendship group of munich. The book belongs to the ww1 era of uboats and is set with hard to read gothic font, my questions to this forum is, The book is autographed and has a dedication. The only name i can recognise and know is that of Claus Bergen, the marine painter, i assume that the rest of the names are uboat crew? can you recognise any? i think chances are that some served on uboats in ww2 also. The book is nr 40, but out of how many? anybody have a clue? the book is filled with cool uboat pictures and paintings from Claus Bergen

Glad to help. The English language version printed in the 1930s has been reprinted by a modern publisher. N&M Press in the UK.
Fraktur is not too bad to read once accustomed. Like anything in life.
