Hello everyone.

I have heard of a follow on to the projected Type VIIC/42 midway through the second world war referred to as the Type VIIC/43. What made the /43 different from the Type VIIC/41 and the deeper diving Type VIIC/42 was its improved firepower. Six bow torpedo tubes and four aft tubes. Yet I have not found any cited evidence of this u-boat design online, just uncited mentions of it here and there. Was this an actual paper project or a mythical variant? Are there any books or other documentation describing this boat?
