Why, this isn't a stupid request! I'd like to see such photos myself!
There is one of them known - U 405 while being commissioned at Danziger Werft on Sept. 17th, 1941. You can find it in a book "Obiekty podwodne i militaria Zatoki Gdańskiej" by Antoni Komorowski - look for it in the bookstores. It contains also 2 interesting color pics of U-boats at Hel base. Unfortunately, I don't have a scanner.

Re: Uboots in Danzig
Hello to all ; a complement...........................
Danzig 1944.
U 552, under Kapitänleutnant Klaus Popp, left St. Nazaire on February 02, 1944. Due to a faulty Ju compressor, she had to return to St. Nazaire. After the repair she set sail again. She operated in the North Atlantic, as a meteorological U-boat from 03/04/1944 to 03/08/1944. Having covered 2,546 nm on the surface and 2,771 nm submerged, U 552 reached Bergen on April 22, 1944.
She then moved to Danzig via Stavanger (change of escort) and Kristiansand (change of escort). On April 28, 1944, U 552 arrived in Danzig.
