? Pardon, but i though the u-boats had some sort of waste container where all the waste, poop, ect went?

You are both correct!
There was a waste container, that was emptied from time to time into the sea.

German efficiency required all human waste to be placed into sardine tins, sealed and buried on land when returning from patrol,.......what a silly question.......where does most of the sewerage end up....in the sea of course. An under water tub, yes I said tub, would of done the same thing. A lancaster bomber flying over Berlin in 1944 also unloaded it's shit can along with the bombs. Can you imagine what hit first, was it a 250 pounder or the rear gunners turd.

I have heard that the toilet on the U-boats was nicknamed Torpedo Tube 7.
