Listing MTB's as DE's seems a bit misleading to me.

Exactly that prompted my comment.

REALLY! That post was from 2005 when I was seeking info about U-boat costs.... thats almost 10 years ago.

Maybe the real question should be, why drag out such an ancient posts? Surely there are more modern posts/threads with the information you seek?

Price lists

G-7a torpedo: 50,000 RM
G-7e torpedo: About 25,000 RM
V-1: 5,000 RM (in mass production)
V-2: 225,000 RM (in mass production)

Basically, 20-21 V-2s equal one XXI submarine
Nice data. I need this for my research work. Thanks !

???
People come to this forum and search it for information. If the information is false or misleading it should be corrected or so noted. How old it is has little signifigance.

Does German destroyers also carried the G7a and the G7e torpedoes in their TTs specially for the 'Maass', 'Narvik' and 'Z41'-classes ?

U-Boat Construction Costs

Type XI: 17,410,000 RM

The 6 H-class battleships of the Z-Plan cost 240.5-million RM each, and that would be equivalent to 82 Type XI U-boats...
