Info about survivors U~Boots until end of war

Post by AGRAKAN » 05 Apr 2005 00:08

Hi, could anyone tell me if there were any U-Boot which survived, fighting until the end of WWII?.

Thank you.

PS. By the way, does anyone know the meaning of "Panic dotation"?. I suppose the translation is like that.

Thank you.

O Yes, there were a few hundred boats that fougt until May 1945. However, most of them were scuttled, and the ones that were captured were often scuttled too. A few remaining boats went into service with other navy's.
