Designs for Polish destroyers and Cruiser

[PT Dockyard]

Can anyone point me to a source for information on and a drawing of on the cruiser that I understand Poland was considering building in the late 1930?

Also, I am looking for information on other designs proposed for the Polish Navy. Here is a drawing of a proposed alternate from the British shp builder Swan Hunter for the Blyskawica. Can anyone provide specifications?

There are no available drawings for Polish cruiser.

Regarding the cruiser, if there were no drawings were specifications at least determined? Was the thought for a light flotilla leader or a heavy 8" cruiser?

None of which I am aware.
The 6-year Programme from 1936 called for a heavy cruiser which would be faster than pocket battleships and stronger than German light cruisers. It was estimated for 15 000 t and speed of 33 kts.
But due to budget cuts this was cancelled.

There was splendid topic on "Warship Projects Discussion Boards" (before it died) on Polish Navy where I in detail have explained the topic of Polish cruiser.

Thanks! Was the gun size ever specified? for 15000 toned, 10" guns may have been ion play.

Nope - not seen any official documents about this cruiser.
There were a lot of articles coming from the writers/journalists during the Inter-War period but none of the official programme (which was accepted and executed) that involved cruiser.

Dave - do you have more drawings for the tender for GROM & BLYSKAWICA?

Do you mean the book on these two? There was a nice drawing of a proposal from France for these ships. It looks like a small Le Fantasque.
