Well looking at the signature again I think you are both 'bang on the money'. And, of course, the Danzig connection makes total sense. I wonder what he was doing in Forster's place on that very important date!
So now we are down to just one unidentified. But it's certainly a tough one!
Many, many thanks guys.
Best

Looks like quite an interesting character!

Well, there was a SS-Obersturmführer Hans Rolf Jung (DoB 22nd July 1909) in Totenkopf in April 1940. Again, no idea what his service was before then or whether he was linked to Danzig but is it possible he was there in a staff capacity to Egersdorff which might be why the signatures are next to each other?

I don't think so really because if you look at the Hans Jung (I thought) there is actually a hyphen in between and the Jung can easily be Georg. Also looking at the two signatures together I can see they have the same sort of flourish. I will ask on the SS topic section to see if we can get more info on Egersdorff. John Moore seems to nhave his file and if that is the case there will likely be a signature on it somewhere. So, on balance, I think we just have one to go. You have been a great help Hucks. Many thanks.
