The Polish General Wacław Iwaszkiewicz-Rudoszański was for a long period an officer with the Russian Army. Did he leave any reminiscences? Is there any biography of him available in Polish?

Some details of Iwaszkiewicz' service with the Russian army are to be found in my new book:

Hi,

Unsure whether it is detailed enough, but there is a rather long biographical article on him here in Polish: https://czasopisma.uni.lodz.pl/historic ... /6296/5925 The reference list of the article would suggest that here is no published biography (book) on him.
Kind Regards

Thank you, Steen.
It is interesting to note that at page 127 the author mentions that Iwaszkiewicz' was "wounded for the first time" in 1900-1901.
From what I've read, he was pretty active until at least November 1900. So, wounded he may have been later.
On the other hand, his namesake, Anatoly Iwaszkiewicz of the CER Guards, was indeed wounded in 1900, during the same campain, (as wounded was Anatoly's daughter, in a separate incident).

He died in 1922 so he really had no time to write anything.
