Mystery plane crash that killed General Sikorski

Some new papers have recently emerged suggesting that General Sikorski, the Polish General, could have been murdered on July 7th 1943, when his plane crashed into the sea off Gibraltar. A Russian delegation had had their plane parked next to it for some time shortly before. It was known that Sikorski was pressing for an inqury into the massacre of Polish troops by the Russians. German propangan has supposedly led to a potential fall out at that time between Allied nations over this incident. Does anyone have any further knowledge or views?

Rather than having two threads runing dealing with the same subject, we'll use henrys 2005 thread.

Thanks Don for your query
