Polish Army 1939-1945

Post by alsaco » 20 Jan 2003 23:57

Would it be possible to know where the composition of the polish army could be found ?

My correspondent is interested in this at the following dates :

Beginning of the war, September 1939.
( would it be possible to know which regiment could escape through Romania )

1940, polish army in France. ( Having joined England from Saint Jean de Luz and Bayonne in June

1943, polish Army in Italy on one hand, polish troops in Russia on the other, fighting and training separately, if possible

1945, April, polish Army with the British, on one hand, polish troops with russian army on the other.

Thank you in advance.

There is also this one. It's a great overview about Poland during World War II:

Enjoy!
