What were Poland's relations with diaspora Polish communities in the interwar era like? I mean with all sorts of diaspora Polish communities, from the Masurians to the remaining Silesian Poles and Ruhr Poles in Germany to the Poles in countries such as France, Britain, the Soviet Union, the United States, et cetera.

Hi Futurist

If you read Polish or can use google translate, the following might be a useful entrée. JOANNA SŁYSZEWSKA-GIBASIEWICZ. OPIEKA KONSULATÓW RP NAD EMIGRANTAMI POLSKIMI W LATACH 1918-1926 (2011). This is available online and although it concentrates on the consular services, it does touch upon other agencies involved in supporting and monitoring the Polish diaspora worldwide. There is an English summary.

H. Janowska, Emigracja zarobkowa z Polski 1918–1939, Warszawa (1981) is the go-to I am told, but can't vouch for it myself.
