Does anyone have info on troops staying at the Base aérienne 136 Toul-Rosières between 1935-1940?
It's written as 136e Base aérienne
I have a infantery manual owned by a certain person Soulé of the 2e Escadrille at this base.
His 'grade' is Cal or Gal chef. What does this mean?

Re: Base Aérienne 136 Pau
hello
the airbase of Toul Rosières-en-Haye it is only a post-war base of the US Air Force in Lorraine who became a french airbase renumbered 136 after the divorce with OTAN/NATO,
the airbase/Air Battalion «136» c.1935-1940 is for Pau in the southwestern Pyrénées
Cal Chef means corporal-chief caporal-chef
in Pau with the usual services & support base units (Air Battalion 136 and GMIT 436) the flying unit, as «2e escadrille» indicates it was one, it was the 36e Escadre Aérienne (later Recce Group I & II/36 in 1939) there was also a Groupe Aérien d'Observation 546 but seems to have only one escadrille so...
