Hello,
I'm looking for pics/drawings or blueprint of the 'ammo tank' for french machine gun MAC 34.
Would be very nice.
Thanks

Hello,
I will try to help but I am not a specialist of aircraft questions at all.
The 7.5mm MAC Mle1934 MG could be found as wing MG with 300 or 500 rounds magazines (fighters) or as defensive weapons on e.g. bombers or reconnaissance planes.
In the latter case I think there were various carriages for the type T MG (T for turret - 100 rounds drum magazine) and there was also the MAC34 M.39 (belt feeding) that appeared e.g. on the type 172 carriage on the LeO451 bombers.
The rate of fire was 1,200 rpm.
Here are several photos taken from "L'Aviation française de bombardement et de renseignement 1918-40 (Docavia 12)" by Danel and Cuny.
Regards,
David
