French-made Hotchkiss M1922/26 multi-purpose machine gun, mounted on a rolling carriage with its ammunition gun, ca. 1928. Photograph obtained by Chilean Navy personnel during commissions in Great Britain, where new ships were being built, probably when considering the possibility of acquiring this weapon.

Umhhh....The images seems show a large caliber weapon...13.2mm I guess . Until now the only Hotchkiss Mle 1922 or Mle 1926 that I knew, were the light machine guns used by Greek or Spain in 6.5mm, 7.7 or 7.92mm calibers....audrew wrote

Or his designation is wrong ?? ...Edge wrote in the first post of htis thread about a test model Mle 1924-26 for the French Army

I also think that the designation 1922/26 in relation to the photo is wrong
