Hello again. =)
First of all, I see nothing in common of this gun and R3.
Second, the 75 mm AA gun M1938 was developed by Schneider and Creusot for the Switzerland or, maybe, Denmark. AFAIK, Mle 39 is not mentioned in any French sources. See also my post here: http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic. ... 0#p1776360
And if you checked the second file with Google Images, then you'ld find http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Categ ... aft_cannon.
With best regards, Ilya.

There's a very powerful tool, called "Google Images". ;-) So it seems to be a naval 37 mm Hotchkiss automatic gun.

Hello, Sturm. I found a low quality photo of a similar gun, called Canon de 105 mm contre-avion modèle 1917/34 plate-forme.

One of 149 produced guns is placed near Mémorial du Souvenir in Dunkerque, found two relevant photos from there: http://www.flickr.com/photos/pauldevall/4653427639 and

Except that it is a 90 mm CA Mle 1939, not a 105 mm CA Mle 17/34 PF.

I'll let my friends know at Photosnormandie.
