Hi Sturm78,

It looks to me like a 105 mm CA Mle 1917 or Mle 1917/34 PF (=Platform).

Hi all,

Not a gun but...... I think a associated equipment

The chassis seems a De Dion Bouton. Ammunition carrier for the 75mm Mle 1913-34 AA SP guns, maybe?? :?

Hi Sturm,

Yes, it looks indeed like an ammunition carrier for the 75 mm CA "autocanon". Here are two postal cards showing the SP gun and its ammunition carrier. The ammunition rack looks slightly different (maybe because it is on the other side) but the wheels and the shape of the frame covered by cloth on top match.

Hi Sturm78,

Thank you for posting this picture. It is a French 75 mm CA Mle 1922 naval gun (or Mle 1924 or Mle 1927 - the differences are in the mounting but I don't know them).

The landscape in the background makes me think of the shores of Northwestern France around Calais, Boulogne or Dunkirk.

"French fortress gun" above have rather short barrel  - it looks like Schneider Mle 1934 howitzer (on some mount, unknown to me)

Hi The Edge.

Sturm78 is right, it is a 105 mm AA French gun on platform with its typical shield. The tube looks short as it is partially recoiled. See a similar gun posted on March 17 in this thread.
