Drancy - Lager-führer "Brener"

Hello!

I am in the process of translating a Holocaust eye-witness testimonial, and I have come across an unknown "Lager-führer Brener" in Drancy on whom I cannot seem to find any information. Does anyone know if someone existed under this name in 1944? Alternatively, it is possible this is a misspelling of Alois Brunner (i.e. was he at any point considered a Lager-führer?)?
