French DI/DIM with hand grenades stock 1940

Hello, I would like to ask any number of hand grenades or VB grenades in standard French DI and Dim in May 1940, any member had data on that ?

Hi, Alain, thank for your reply. I see some sources on website like Stephane Commant French OOB, one French squad only had eight VB grenade , I think too little for combat. If you have hand grenade or VB quantity information, hope u can share with us, thank

Hi Kelvin ,
Each group of ( french ) twelve mens had one grenadier with tromblon VB , witch one carry 8 VB grenades . On section level , we have then 3 grenadiers plus one caporal grenadier , again with a launcher and 8 grenades . It means 4*8 = 32 Vivien Bessiere grenades .
For hand grenades , i still have not real numbers, but if we consider , let's say 2 offensive hand grenades per voltigeur , we will have 8 hand grenades per group ( so again 32 per section ) .
The first one could be throw up to 170 meters, the hand grenade around 20 meters ( german hand grenade , a little bit more , let's say 30 to 40 meters with "catapult effect" for stielhandgranate , 20 meters for Eihandgranate ) . For the numbers , it should be 10 to 15 grenades for a german group ( so 40 to 60 for a section ) . But i need to check real dotations for hand grenades , for each country ...

Hello, Alain, thank for your help. German 's scale of hand grenades stock was different after 1942. It increased significantly in Russian battlefield.
