Good afternoon all,

Highly decorated Odette Sansome was a British (I believe) member of SOE working with the French resistance.

Time Magazine says she was most highly decorated of the "spies".

Note the article's mention that "female couriers operating in occupied France ... the second highest Allied fatality rate (42%, behind only Bomber Command's 45%) of the war.

There is a commemorative postage stamp issued to honor her.

Odette Sansom was born in France and she was also known as Odette Sansom Hallowes or Odette Churchill because she was married briefly with Peter Churchill
She worked under the codename of "Lise" while she was a wireless radio operator in the French underground during WWII
