French units in Bad Reichenhall may 45

Hello,

The 2eme DB was in Bad Reichenhall in may 45.
But which units precisely occupied the city ?

It seems that the american troops were there too. They captured the general Karl Bodenschatz.
Unfortunately, the frenchs took his diary that he has written between 39 and 44.

Any idea where the diary could be and who could have taken it among the french forces ?

On 5 May 1945, the XI group (battalion) of the 64th Artillery Regiment was in Bad Reichenhall.

On 7-8 May 1945, they were joined by the rest of G.T.V. (Combat Command V) and the division headquarters.
