WW2 POW CAMPS CODES

#1

Post by Joda » 17 Jan 2019, 13:00

May I know if there is a list of known Allied POW Camps codes?
We often see codes in Wehrmacht Soldbuchs like "31G-1234-123": I only know that 31G refers to Europe POW Camps.

Thanks in advance

31G means he was German, captured by US forces, ETO.
See chaptet III, B, Serial Numbers:
