Hi

"The Iowa when completed had a narrow rounded bridge and a enlarged conning tower. The former was changed to square fronted bridge in 1945. Also she was unique in that she never had a 40mm Quad on her No2 turret, only 20mm as the larger gun would have obscured the view from the conning tower"

I'm sure they'll be others.

South Dakota-class. Low aft superstructure, centerline 40mm quad mount, tapered aft main battery director tower.
