I have good news for LineDoggie. The history of racism can be traced back through evolution for millions of years to wild pack animals. Uncle Sam is not the common denominator for racism. ... The Japanese, South Koreans, Taiwanese, Canadians, Australians, New Zealanders, Europeans, Israelis, Filipinos, and Thais are America's best friends.

Seriously? are you gibbering because I called you out for using a racist slur?

''Japs'' is a racist slur
True, and if you retrofit today's mores on those times you're doing history a disservice. We need to remind people of what it was like then.

"Be a Man" is a chauvinistic "slur" LineDoggie. ... "Jap" is not a slur in the above historical context. Japan was highly advanced by WWII. Unfortunately, nationalist hotheads brainwashed honorable Japanese citizens with the gospel of aggression and expansionism.

"Jap" was an intentional insult. We need to remember that.

I'll stop using the term "Jap." I don't want to offend the honorable Japanese of today with insulting terms from the past. ... The carrying forward of generational grudges is unethical and provocational, but difficult to circumvent. Look at China's puppet state of North Korea for example. ... A century from now persons from near the northeast Black Sea region will be hating each other for the current quagmire happening before they were born.

I looked up 1984 Opana. It was published in 1949, one year before the Communist sneak attack and invasion of South Korea.

Yep, and one job was to change the "historical" records to match the current political paradigm.
