Who are the officers?
1 should be a Major general.
2 looks like a brigadier.

Thanks!

Hi,
Who are the two officers with General Wainwright in 1945?
The officer on right looks like a brigadier general.
Thanks.

I don't know Nr. 1 or 3. Nr. 2 is Fiorello La Guardia, Mayor of NYC, 1933 to 1945. Gen. Wainwright had a ticker tape parade in NYC Sep 13, 1945 and Mayor La Guardia rode in the parade car with him. He was then assigned command of Eastern Defense Command at Fort Jay, Governors Island, NYC. Picture could be from parade festivities or ceremony after he was stationed at Fort Jay.

#1 is a general officer

#3 wears general staff insignia so lower than a Brigadier in rank
