I have to agree with the poster above. Many times when I see the word "Nip" or "Kraut" or "Ami" or "Yank" I'm so shocked I burst in tears and throw the book accross the room. Other people, not so morally superior, don't have that reaction, but I'm so sensitive about "hateful nicknames" that I can't react any other way.

After all, while killing the enemy by the hundreds of thousands with high explosive, bullets, and white phosporous is allowed in war, hateful nicknames is over the line. Perhaps we can ban all history books with the bad words?
