It wasnt adopted obviously as standard. You do see them in the movie "Five graves to Cairo"

As you no doubt already know there's not much on the web except for pics. There is an article on this vehicle in Issue #40 of Wheels & Tracks. Perhaps someone here has a copy and will be kind enough to post a scan or give us a summary.

I think the second pic is a LeTourneau Super C Tournapull with Carryall Scraper. Not sure of the prime mover engine or scraper model.

The bulldozer is a Clark CA-1 Airborne Bulldozer. http://www.maquetland.com/article-photo ... -st-mere-l Also used by the British.
