Could be but the same Military Pattern 6x6 was also built by White and Brockway. I don't know if there were any detail differences.

At a quick guess, yes. M3 had a lowered idler wheel in the back to lower ground pressure and increase mobility.

Yes an M2A4 recognition points include
37mm main gun M5 with shielded recuperator forward of the mantlet
Different engine deck to M3 series
Idler wheel similar to the M2 medium series
Protective strap on hull side for OVM
only combat use was in Able co. 1st tank bn 1st marine division @ Guadalcanal
