Here is a bracelet made from mess-kit aluminum. This and the mess-kit photos from the previous thread about Trench art? were from the same man who wrote the excerpts that I posted in the thread "A soldiers letters home " in this Forum.I don,t know how to post the link.

Thanks for sharing these two posts.Finally, something in the forum that's interesting.
Man, what great heirlooms. Silent momentos that speak volumes. I have a knife ,that belonged to my Uncle ,that has the names of places he served in the Pacific. I treasure it for the same reasons that I'm sure you feel about those artifacts. Keep them safe for your grandchildren.
