Good afternoon all,

Above per title.

America's war effort had a feature not mentioned in the article; FDR's political skills.

I like the picture of the Detroit Arsenal Tank Plant. No hard hats (industrial safety helmets) nor work gloves required then.

Some "politicos" joke around that the generals and admirals did not win the war for the US; the industrial cities like Detroit, Milwaukee, San Francisco Bay area, did.
