Characteristics Of US Tank Destroyer Ammunition

The attached US Army report ‘Characteristics Of Tank Destroyer Ammunition’ lists a multitude of data for the US 3”, 76 mm and 90 mm anti-tank guns. The report was issued in April 1945 by the 1st Tank Destroyer Brigade.

The 76 mm ammunition information also applies to the 76 mm gun used in the later design Sherman Tanks.

One interesting omission is the report does not include the T105 fuse for the HE shells of all three guns. This is surprising because the T105 fuse had considerable use in the European and Italian theaters.

I’ve submitted the report as four individual page attachments to meet this site's file size requirements.
