Attached are the final series of reports that describe the evolution and variety of tactics used by the US Army infantry, artillery and armored units to overcome the German Army defenses located in the French Hedgerows during the summer of 1944.

If I discover more of these during my research, I will post them.

I hope the members have found these reports useful.

Any evidence on how much of this filtered down to the company level in a timely manner?

These reports were widely disseminated by divisions down to the company level and then to the individual platoons when this was practical. The reports also were available in the unit and company rear areas when companies were rotated out of the line. The content of the reports formed part of the intelligence information that was discussed when units planned future operations.
