This data seems to show that the first batch of M36 types didn't even make it to the battalions even before the end of the war.

It seems that there would be surplus M10s in theatre since they were converting battalions.

Note the error in the chart. It should be 864 Total strength July 44.

To aid this discussion I've attached the specifications of the 90mm M3 gun that was used in the M-36 series Tank Destroyers. The information includes data for the ammunition.

This specification was issued by the US 610th Tank Destroyer Battalion through the 1st Tank Destroyer Brigade in October 1944.

It seems the velocity may have been increased on the 90 mm AP?
