American spotter airplanes...

#1

Post by Timo » 17 Feb 2004, 13:54

Can somebody provide some details about the use of light spotter airplanes by the American Army in the WTO? I'm especially interested in types of airplanes and how these planes were deployed. Where they part of the divisional staff, the artillery, other? Two-men crew (pilot and spotter) or different?

Thanks in advance for your input.
