Hi all,

I am not sure about this image. The aircraft is an Aispeed Oxford but.... is this image taken during WW2 or postwar ??

Most likely 1946

The serial number PH453 suggests it was delivered c.Jan 1945

The roundel is a Type C, which was replaced by the Type D in 1947

It is not camouflaged. Air Publication 2656A. Amendment List No 8 (AL8) - October 1944.
specifies camouflage for communications and training aircraft.
