Fort Henry, Studland, Dorset

In April 1944, King George VI, Winston Churchill, General Eisenhower and Field Marshal Montgomery, visited Fort Henry to watch a demonstration of DD Tanks swimming ashore. The Tanks were Valentines, some sank and 6 men were drowned.
